Farm Homestead Harvest is a digital platform designed to connect consumers ("Shoppers") with local farmers, homesteaders, and farmers markets ("Growers" / "Farmers"). The App provides directory listings, location-based mapping, produce inventory visibility, and subscription services for growers.

2. User Accounts and Registration

• Account Creation You may sign in using third-party authentication (such as Google Sign-In). You agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep your account details current.
• Account Responsibility You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Account Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide fraudulent information, or misuse the platform.

3. Role of the App (No Direct Sale / Marketplace Disclaimer)

• Informational Directory Only Farm Homestead Harvest serves solely as an information and discovery platform. We do not inspect, prepare, sell, purchase, handle, package, deliver, or process payments for any produce, livestock, or agricultural goods displayed in the App.
• Transactions Between Users Any transaction, communication, purchase, visit, or pickup arrangement is strictly between the Shopper and the Grower. Farm Homestead Harvest is not a party to any agreement or transaction between users.
• Quality and Freshness Disclaimer While Growers may indicate harvest dates or organic practices, Farm Homestead Harvest does not verify, warrant, or guarantee the freshness, safety, organic certification, cleanliness, or legality of any food products listed.

4. Terms for Farmers and Growers

By registering a farm profile and publishing produce listings, you agree to:

• Accurate Information Provide truthful and accurate farm names, contact details, operating hours, geolocation coordinates, and produce descriptions.
• Compliance with Applicable Laws Comply with all local, state, and federal agricultural, food safety, health, sales tax, zoning, and business licensing regulations (including Cottage Food laws and USDA regulations where applicable).
• Produce and Pricing Limits Respect listing limits, maximum pricing, and features applicable to your account tier.
• Prohibited Items You must not list illegal items, controlled substances, unpasteurized goods where prohibited by law, wildlife, or any harmful materials.

5. In-App Purchases, Billing, and Subscriptions

• Tier Subscriptions Certain features (such as increased produce listings, freshness tracking, and promotion options) require an active paid subscription (e.g., Monthly Tier or Monthly Plus Tier).
• Payment Processing All purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through Google Play In-App Billing. You agree to adhere to Google Play’s payment policies.
• Auto-Renewal & Cancellation Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Google Play Account Settings.
• Refunds Refund requests are governed by Google Play’s standard refund policy.

6. Location Services and Map Data

• The App utilizes device location and Google Maps API to display farms, markets, and directions.
• Location accuracy depends on device hardware, cellular/GPS networks, and user-provided coordinates. We cannot guarantee 100% precision of map pins, driving directions, or route accessibility. Always exercise caution and respect private property boundaries when visiting farms.

7. Intellectual Property & User Content

• App Ownership All design, trademarks, UI elements, icons, logos, and software code are the intellectual property of Farm Homestead Harvest.
• User-Generated Content You retain ownership of descriptions, photos, and links you post. By posting content on the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute this content in connection with providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• "As Is" Basis The App and all content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.
• No Liability for Farm Visits or Consumed Goods Under no circumstances shall Farm Homestead Harvest or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:
  1. i. Consumption of any food, dairy, meat, or produce found via the App.
  2. ii. Physical visits, personal injuries, property damage, or trespassing disputes at any farm or market location.
  3. iii. Inaccuracies, outdated pricing, or unavailability of items at any listed farm.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time. When updates occur, the "Last Updated" date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
